Conference Booklets and more Conference Ideas

Here is a conference booklet Kara Swensen sent for me to post last conference.

Here is the conference booklet our family used for several years. You can print it and cut out the pages and staple together. Children can write notes and and draw a picture of the weather. After conference everyone can share their notes during a family home evening. Once conference weekend is over, you can put the bingo cards and conference booklets in a file folder to save for next conference.

Here is a link to the Ensign article on "Preparing our Children for General Conference." I loved the idea on having a "picnic" in front of the TV during the 2:00 session. The family likened it to the Book of Mormon method of watching conference. When King Benjamin gave his talk, families gathered together in tents and brought food.

I also found a FHE website that has recently posted General Conference Ideas for Toddlers and Preschoolers. There is a fun song someone created to get to know the general authorities and ideas for making a conference reverent tent.
